Lady Bombers smash Blue Devils, end losing Skid

The Lady Bomber volleyball squad was back on the home court of The Hangar on Thursday. Mountain Home, who had lost 3 straight coming into Thursday night’s match, bounced back with a vengeance sweeping West Memphis 3 sets to 0. Mountain Home never trailed in any set. The first set was the most competitive of the night ending in a 25-13 Lady Bomber victory. Set two and set three saw pure domination by the Lady Bombers as they won both sets by the score of 25-6. Lorelai Green had 10 kills, Aspen Vostatek contributed with 7 kills, Aleigh Lucas had 4 kills, Lauren Rauls served up 2 aces and 11 digs, and Cara Jackson led the Mountain Home passing attack with 18 assists.Mountain Home also swept the junior varsity match 2-0, by the scores of 25-10 and 25-11.

The Lady Bombers next contest will see them step out of conference play and hit the road to take on the Rogers Mounties on Monday.
