The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has reopened the swim beach at Panther Bay on Norfork Lake.
The beach had been temporarily closed after routine testing showed elevated E. coli levels. Officials said two consecutive water samples with acceptable results, as required by the Arkansas Department of Health, cleared the way for reopening.
