The Mountain Home Bomber tennis squads were back at Legacy Racquet Club on Tuesday. The Bomber boys took 9 of 10 matches against the Pioneers on Tuesday. They saw singles victories for Landon Horne 8-3, Oakley Recktenwald won both of his singles matches by the score of 8-0 and 6-0, and Riley Edwards would get defeated by Batesville’s Paxton Steele 5-7. On the Doubles Side Ben Souder/Strat Rucker defeated Wilkins/Falwell 8-3, Souder/Rucker would also defeat Sam Smith/Anderson Fisher 6-2. Max Goodwin/Nathan Mooney played 2 matches and defeated Smith/Fisher 8-1 and Wilkins/Falwell 6-3. Chandler Jones/Anthony Jones defeated Henry Goodwin/Sawyer Sandage 8-1, and Brooks Barber/Elijah Grade took down Cole Keller/Khoa Down by the score of 8-3.The Lady Bombers also had a dominant performance against the Pioneers on Tuesday as they took 7 of 10 matches from Batesville. In singles action Mary Charles McConnell swept Anna Yarnell 8-0, McConnel would defeat Rylee Clark 6-0 as well. Addison Decker defeated Clark 8-1, and Emma Fowler was defeated by Evie Campbell 3-8. In doubles, Kiana Talbot/Devon Sussman defeated Lanier/Price 8-4, Siennna Reed/Jentry Souder split a pair of matches against Yarnell/Cunningham 8-4 and then were defeated 1-6. London Teague/Hadley Goodwin were defeated by Stevi Carter/Wren Wyatt 5-8. And closing out the night Shelby McBride/Maggie Norcross would tie and win matches against Evie Campbell/Ella Insell by the count of 8-8 and 7-2.Mountain Home will be back in action on September 11th as they will welcome Paragould to Legacy Racquet Club.
