The Baxter County Library Foundation will host the Library Hill Trail Virtual Challenge throughout October. Participants can complete a 5K or marathon anytime, anywhere, at their own pace.

The challenge supports the Library Hill Trail Project, a planned three-quarter-mile trail connecting the Library, McCabe Park, and ASUMH. The trail is intended to provide a safe, educational, and accessible outdoor space for the community.

Registration includes a personalized race bib and a commemorative finisher medal. Participants may also raise funds through a personal fundraising page, with prizes available for fundraising levels starting at $100. A Fundraise-Only option is available for those who wish to support the project without participating in the challenge.

Race packets for Baxter County participants can be picked up at the library, while out-of-area participants may request shipping. Participants may track progress using any app or device and celebrate achievements after the event.

Donations may also be made by check, payable to Baxter County Library Foundation with “Library Hill Virtual Challenge” in the memo, and mailed or delivered to the foundation.
