Over 70 Mountain Home High School (MHHS) students received Mountain Home Education Foundation (MHEF) scholarships Tuesday night during the annual senior awards night at Dunbar Auditorium.

Miss MHHS 2026 top 10Nominees The winner of this year’s Bob and Sue Knight Memorial Scholarship was Jake Brashears who received $1000.
Among this year’s top scholarship recipients, Libby Dewey ranked first with a total of $4,000, earning the Lucas Todd Memorial Scholarship and the Mr. & Miss MHHS Winner Female award. Tied for second with $3,000 each were Julia Tecza, who received the Lucas Todd Memorial Scholarship, and Kayden Andrews, recipient of the Friends of the North Fork & White Rivers Scholarship. Tied for fourth at $2,500 were Dayton Davis, who earned the Porting Family Business Scholarship and the Mr. & Miss MHHS Winner Male award, and Joah Nichols, recipient of the Leading Edge Aviation Foundation Scholarship. Several students tied for sixth with $2,000 in awards, including Caden Delsoto, Dakota Marney, Laurel Smeltzer, Mackenna Medley and Olivia McCoy, each earning multiple scholarships and academic honors.
