A historic season for the Lady Warriors came to an end Friday as they fell to Woodlawn in the second round of the 2A state tournament at Palenstine-Wheatley.
The Bears kept Cotter scoreless with a final of 3-0. The Lady Warriors put up a strong fight with Myah McNutt striking out 13 batters on the mound.
Cotter ends the season with a record of 23-4-1 and marked the first time the Lady Warriors won the 2A regional championship last Saturday, May 9.
