Jeff Wadlin, a businessman from Bentonville, announced his campain for U.S. Senate on Tuesday to represent Arkansas. Wadlin will run as the Libertarian candidate in a race that includes Republican candidate and incumbent Senator Tom Cotton and Democratic candidate Hallie Shoffner.
“I’m running for the U.S. Senate because Arkansas’s middle class is being squeezed while the major parties trade our economic interests for culture-war fights that divide us, said Jeff. “If we truly want to restore the American Dream, we need to unite around policies that lower costs, raise wages, and build ladders into the middle class, not by creating permanent dependence, but by pulling people up into stable, productive lives through pragmatic, results driven reforms.
By securing the Libertarian nomination, Wadlin has achieved automatic ballot access in Arkansas, bypassing the signature-gathering requirements for unaffiliated candidates.
Wadlin will embark on a statewide tour to meet with voters ahead of the November 3 election.
