The Jacksonville Police Department has identified a suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a 6-year-old boy Sunday evening.

Authorities said 21-year-old Artavius Dontel Johnson is believed to have been involved in the shooting.

Police said Johnson was last seen driving a white Hyundai Elantra with Arkansas license plate BGP35N.

Investigators said warrants are being issued for Johnson’s arrest and warned he should be considered armed and dangerous.
