
The Garland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Wednesday in the northern part of Garland County.
According to officials, deputies responded May 20 to Copper Penny Trail, where they found a man lying unresponsive in a yard.
First responders attempted life-saving measures, but the man was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said three people were detained at the scene during the investigation. One of those individuals, 43-year-old Matthew Hartman, was later interviewed and taken into custody.
Hartman has been charged with second-degree murder and is being held in the Garland County Detention Center on a $150,000 bond.
