
Arkansas State University-Mountain Home seeks applicants for a Full-Time Director of Workforce Development.
Responsibilities include development and implementation of customized workforce training programs, oversight of apprenticeship programs, relationship development with local and regional businesses, management of grant funding and budgets, supervision and development of instructors, oversight of client billing and contracts, and development of marketing strategies.
Minimum qualifications include an associates degree and five years of experience in administration, management, or a technical field preferably related to workforce development or industry training; or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
Preferred individual will have a bachelor’s degree in education, business, technical, or related field, plus teaching or employee development experience, and curriculum development and/or industrial training experience. Familiarity with industrial processes, emerging technologies, and workforce trends is preferred.
Compensation includes an annual salary commensurate with background and experience, with potential for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits and leave package.
