Cotter sweeps Omaha, improves to 10-0

The Cotter Lady Warriors kept their undefeated season rolling Thursday night, sweeping the Omaha Lady Eagles in both senior high and junior high volleyball action. The victories improve Cotter’s overall record to 10-0.

In senior high play, Cotter dominated from start to finish with set scores of 25-15, 25-9 and 25-10. Reagan Cowart directed the offense with 15 assists while adding seven digs and three aces. Myah McNutt powered the attack with 10 kills and two blocks, and Kenna Collins contributed a strong all-around performance with eight kills, six digs and four aces. Riley Brotherton chipped in four kills, three aces and seven digs, while Zaylor Brotherton added eight digs on defense.

The junior high Lady Warriors were equally sharp, defeating Omaha 25-11 and 25-10. Kinnley Cowart tallied 17 assists and four kills, while Lily McNutt paced the attack with nine kills. Bailey Ivens added eight kills, and Aubree Beard served four aces.

Cotter returns home Tuesday night to host Marshall as the Lady Warriors look to extend their perfect season.
