
One item of business was added to the Mountain Home City Council agenda Thursday afternoon. The council is set to meet at 6:00 Thursday evening.
City Clerk Brian Plumlee says an ordinance authorizing Yelcot Communications to construct, maintain and operate a network in the city and levy a franchise tax has been added to the agenda.
The original agenda noted Mountain Home Mayor Hillrey Adams will deliver his state of the city address during the council meeting.
Also on the agenda are ordinances amending the water and sewer rates.
A request for a variance regarding an above ground fuel storage tank at Baxter Regional Medical Center is also to be considered.
In addition, the council will be asked to approve payment for a vactor truck for the water and sewer department, along with ordinances waiving competitive bidding for two trucks, contractor services for the repair on the electrical system at the 201 North water pump station, two pumps, a digester aerator and an aerator/mixer.
The meeting will be held in the council chambers of the Municipal Building.
