A Stone County woman was arrested at the hospital in Mountain View Feb. 18th after she allegedly took her neighbor’s vehicle from his yard. Her actions reportedly follow the neighbor having told her not to be on his property.
White River Now reports 48-year-old Arenda Leighow told authorities she had gone to her neighbor’s house for help.
After knocking on the door and no one answering, Leighow said she took the neighbor’s vehicle. The keys had been left in the vehicle.
When Leighow was finished at the hospital, she was taken into custody and transported to the Stone County jail. The report did not provide details on why the Stone County woman needed help.
