The Marion County Quorum Court procedures and management committee will meet Thursday evening at 5 to discuss three recently passed pieces of legislation.The agenda will include discussion of Act 1028, regarding recording of meetings; Act 639, concerning justices of the peace holding additional offices; and Act 400, regarding providing life insurance to JPs.The meeting will be held in the Marion County Courthouse Annex.
