Cotter City Council to consider new member

The Cotter City Council is looking at a lengthy agenda when it meets in regular session Thursday evening at 6.

Under new business, the council will consider an applicant to fill the vacant Ward 1, Position 1 seat, the 2020 municipal officials accidental death and dismemberment plan and a $110 yearly contribution to support the Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District.In addition, Brian Haas, CPA, will present the 2018 water audit budget.

Three items of unfinished business are on the agenda. They include third readings and possible adoption of ordinances regulating animals at large, pit bull terrier breed and vicious animals and the use and sale of fireworks.

The council will also receive the proposed 2020 budget to review before its workshop Monday evening at 7.

Thursday’s council meeting will be held at Cotter City Hall.
