For this year’s baseball season, Mountain Home Baseball Academy will not be offering a youth program. The board will instead support the Mountain Home High School baseball program, who will offer a “spring training” four-week camp throughout this month.
The camp is for sixth, seventh and eighth graders, and it’s designed to bridge the gap and build relationships with the 13-to-15-year-old players, their coaches and the high school program. The Bomber coaching staff will be responsible for the camp structure, and Mountain Home Baseball Academy will assist as instructional volunteers.
The cost is $50 per camper. Sessions will be held all four Saturday mornings in February from 9 to 11 at the ASC/Finley Family Indoor Baseball and Softball Complex. If the weather permits, the camp will be held at Pitts Field at McClain Park.
