
Despite out-hitting Siloam Springs 7-3, the Mountain Home High School baseball team suffered a 6-5 loss to the Panthers Tuesday afternoon at Farmington. It’s the second straight one-run loss for the Bombers to start the season.
Will Gross started on the hill for the Bombers, working three and a third innings while giving up four runs on two hits and striking out two.
Offensively, Bryce McKay and Tanner Burnham each had two hits for Mountain Home.
The Bombers fall to 0-2 on the season. They continue play in the Prep Baseball Report Season Opener Tournament Friday night at Lonoke. Their opponent is not known yet.
