
The Mountain Home American Legion baseball teams won three of the four games they played Wednesday night.
The Lockeroom team traveled to Harrison and easily swept a double-header.
The Lockeroom won the first game 11-0. Jim Strider got the win on the mound. At the plate, Jake Hutson led the way with three hits and three runs batted in.
In the second game, Lockeroom pounded Harrison 14-1. Satch Harris allowed just two hits to get the win. At the plate, Noah Everett and Chase Orf each had three hits.
The Lockeroom returns to action Saturday hosting Batesville.
The Mountain Home MacLeod team split its games at home with Batesville.
MacLeod won the first contest 15-5. Rhett Carter was the winning pitcher, striking out eight. Offensively, Tate Isaacs went three-for-four, and Britton Smith had a hit and drew three walks.
In the second game, Batesville squeaked by MacLeod 10-9. Payton Evans led the offense with two runs batted in.
