Denton Ferry Road/County Road 1 has now reopened to thru traffic, the Baxter County Road and Bridge Department says.
A section of the road at the High Tower Creek Bridge north of Cotter was closed Thursday morning due to damage from Wednesday night’s flooding. The road remained open at either end, but was closed to thru traffic at the bridge.
The road is currently limited to one lane of traffic along the bridge. County crews are on the scene and both lanes should be reopened by the middle of next week.
