
Winter weather advisories remain in effect for all of northern Arkansas and southern Missouri, as snow continues to move through the region Friday. With the first round of snow Friday morning, roads in the northwest part of Arkansas and southwest Missouri became snow covered, but in the Twin Lakes Area, most roads were reported to be just wet.
Meteorologist Lance Pyle with the National Weather Service in North Little Rock says we can expect the snow to continue into the evening hours.

As of 11:30 Friday morning, the Arkansas Department of Transportation is reporting highways in Boone County are either snow covered or slushy. In Marion County, highways are slush covered. Highways in Baxter, Fulton, Izard, Stone, Searcy and Newton counties are just wet.
In southern Missouri as of 11:30, roads in Taney County are listed as partly covered. Roads in Ozark, Douglas and Howell counties are shown to be just wet.
