Two hosts heard regularly on KTLO-FM will come together for a special show this weekend. American Countryside host Andrew McCrea will call in as a guest on Jack the Car Guy this Saturday morning.

McCrea, a farmer and rancher from northwest Missouri, has produced and hosted the nationally-syndicated American Countryside radio program since 1996. The show, currently heard every weekday after the 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. newscasts on KTLO-FM, has won five Oscars in Agriculture since its inception.

McCrea has interviewed Emmy Award winners, Miss America, state governors, Iditarod sled dog racers and several others for his program. He has also been seen on RFD-TV – on all Dish and Direct TV households, several cable systems and nearly 150 local TV stations across the country.

Jack the Car Guy is hosted by local car guru Jack Fortner from his “Never Done Garage” near Yellville. As someone who has worked the auto industry, Fortner answers questions listeners have about vehicle models from the 1970s and older and talks about the latest in auto racing news.

McCrea’s appearance on Jack the Car Guy can be heard this Saturday morning at 8 on KTLO-FM.
