Thayer PD asking for assistance in identifying theft suspect

The Thayer Police Department is seeking assistance in an ongoing investigation.

According to Chief Luke Martin, an investigation into the identity of a person accused of theft from a local business is being conducted.

The man is accused of stealing roughly $600. Authorities believe the vehicle to have a Missouri license plate.
