A man injured from a small fire at a retirement village in Mountain Home has died. Currently, there is no indication the death of 76-year-old Harry Brian was caused by the fire.According to the incident report, the Mountain Home Fire Department dispatched to Baxter Retirement Village just before 3 Saturday morning for a report of a fire. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a resident, later identified as Brian, started a small fire in his apartment, causing light smoke damage. No other damage to the building was reported.
The report stated Brian suffered burns to his face and was transported by ambulance to Baxter Health. The fire department spokesperson says it is unclear when Brian died.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
