Beginning in Fall 2023, Mountain Home High School students will have the opportunity to enroll in aviation courses where by the end of three years, they will have a choice of earning an FAA drone pilot certificate, or passing the FAA knowledge test for a private pilot license.Gerald Gaige from the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and Leading Edge Aviation Foundation along with Baxter County Airport Commission Chairman Dr. Steven Vester joined KTLO’s Sammy Raycraft to discuss the new program and other activities available to students.
