Allyson Dewey, Superintendent of Mountain Home Public Schools, will host a “Drop In With Dewey” feedback session this Friday from 8:30 until 3:30 at the district’s administration office.

Similar to Walk-In Wednesday events Dr. Jake Long hosted, Dewey will be available for community feedback and questions. Current plans are to host these events on the evenings of open house, parent-teacher conferences as well as the last Friday of each month. The district will announce times and dates for each event as they arise.

While any school-related topic is welcomed at this event, Dewey is particularly interested in discussing the current LEARNS Act and how it will impact the district. Dewey states, “I would love to discuss or answer questions people may have about LEARNS. There are still a number of unknowns about the way this piece of legislation applies to our district, but I have been really encouraged to see that we are already doing many of the things that LEARNS will mandate.”

The district’s administration office is located at 2465 Rodeo Drive. For those who cannot attend but wish to visit with Dewey can email her at adewey@mhbombers.com.
