
Mountain Home was able to sweep a pair of junior high football games over West Memphis Wonder on Thursday.
The Junior Bombers breezed past Golden Lions 42-14 in the freshman game. Gaige Wilson was 15 of 17 through the air with 248 yards and four touchdowns. Gus Wilber had four catches for 76 yards and two scores, Will Rauls caught two passes for 52 yards, and Elijah Hillstrom added three receptions for 23 yards and another score. Hillstrom also led the ground attack with eight carries for 75 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, Owen Campos had five tackles and a fumble recovery, and Wilber added five tackles.
Mountain Home also defeated Wonder in the eighth grade contest by a final of 16-6.
