Two area teams competed in the Class 1A State Boys’ Golf Tournament Monday at Mountain Ranch Golf Club in Fairfield Bay.
Norfork finished 10th in the tournament with a team total of 339. Viola was sixth at 280. Armorel captured the title at 261.
Viola’s Braden Williams was named All-State after ending up as the individual runner-up. Williams shot a 78 to finish two strokes behind Max Gipson of Greers Ferry West Side.
