More people attended the Arkansas State Fair this year than any previous year in the event’s history. On Sunday, the final day of the fair, a total of over 554,000 attendees had been tallied. The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports fair manager Tiffany Wilkerson said six new rides, an expanded midway and the implementation of a new curfew all played a role in this year’s record turnout.
