Two earthquakes recorded recently in Arkansas

Two earthquakes have rocked the state recently. The U. S. Geological Survey recorded a minor earthquake Wednesday night in Mississippi County. The magnitude 2.1 quake was centered about 9 miles southwest of Blytheville.

Another minor earthquake was recorded early this morning at 1225 south of the Independence County and White County border. The magnitude 1.8 quake was located about 2.8 miles southeast of Pleasant Plains.
