Snowfall to join frigid temperatures Sunday

The Twin Lakes Area is already experiencing the frigid temperatures with the low getting to 1 degree at KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, the official reporting station for the National Weather Service in Mountain Home. The current conditions are expected to be joined by snowfall on Sunday.

North central Arkansas is under a wind chill warning until noon Sunday and will be under a winter storm warning from noon until 6 Monday evening. Southern Missouri will be under a winter weather advisory Sunday from 10 a.m. until midnight. The entire area will be under a wind chill advisory from noon Sunday through noon Tuesday.

Meteorologist Willie Gilmore from the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says there are some parts of the area that are below 0.
