A Forrest City man is being held on a $1 million bond in connection with the death of a woman.Authorities said Thursday that 45-year-old Micah Lacy is suspected in the death of 42-year-old Troy Alexandra Strope of Forrest City. In February, a group of boys riding four wheelers found a tote containing Strope’s body on the side of County Road 731.
The St. Francis County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that Micah Lacy is charged with first-degree murder, abuse of a corpse, and possession of a firearm by a certain person. Lacy is expected to be arraigned on Monday, June 24, in the St. Francis County Circuit Court.
The Sheriff’s Office said the case is still ongoing and other arrests are expected.
