
Before the Mountain Home City Council meets Thursday night, a public hearing will be held at 4:45 regarding the proposed 2025 Water-Sewer bonds. When the City Council meets afterwards, they will have two expenditures to discuss.
The biggest will be the issuance of $10 million in bonds to finance the completion of the waste water treatment plant. The money will go into the 2025 budget for the work.
The council will also consider renewing its contract with the North Central Arkansas Economic Alliance at $40,000 per year to be paid $10,000 per quarter.
The alliance will go over the proposal with the council during the meeting.
Also on the agenda, is a request from the Mountain Home Fire Department to remove the old mobile smoke house from their inventory; an ordinance to accept the final replat for Lot 2, West End Phase 1, located at West End Way; and an ordinance to expand and redefine job classification and compensation plan in several departments.
The city council meeting begins at 5:00 in Mountain Home City Hall.
