
A special fundraiser for Hospice of the Ozarks, affiliated with Baxter Health, is coming up next month with a “Kentucky Derby flair.” A Night of Hope Gala and Fundraiser is scheduled for June 7 at 5:30 at the Vada Sheid Community Development Center on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home.
Hospice of the Ozarks Outreach Coordinator Marta Rose was a recent guest of the Talk of the Town on KTLO-FM, and she says there will be several different events for the attendees to take part in.

Live entertainment will be provided by the Drew Oxley Band. Dinner will be courtesy of Mershon’s Cakes and Catering, and cocktails will be provided by Rapp’s Barren Brewing Company and Judicious Spirits.
Organizers of the gala are working to put together items for the auction. Rose says they’re looking to highlight local businesses, entrepreneurs and artists.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available for the gala. Rose says this is the biggest fundraiser for Hospice of the Ozarks, and sponsorship is very important.
