Tanner Hoskinds, Athletic Director at Calico Rock High School, has been name Alumni of the Year at Ozarka College. Hoskinds currently serves as head basketball and softball coach and leads his school’s athletic programs with a focus on both excellence and community service.
Hoskinds says “I am greatly honored to be named Ozarka’s Alumni of the Year. Having the opportunity to attend Ozarka was an absolute game changer for me coming out of high school. My professors challenged and prepared me for my future endeavros in education. I would not be where I am today without Ozarka.”
Ozarka College President Dr. Josh Wilson says “We are honored to recognize Tanner as Ozarka’s Alumni of the Year. Tanner represents the best of Ozarka and is a tremendous advocate for his students. His success in coaching exemplified by his performance and sportsmanship as well as being named Coach of the Year are prime examples of his positive impact on his student athletes. His achievements are a testament to what hard work can accomplish and Ozarka is proud to have played a part of his journey.”
Hoskinds coaching achievements include a district championship title, being named 1A-2 Coach of the Year and leading his softball team to state finals.
