Day 2 of the Big Nuts Classic in Charleston, Missouri ended with Mountain Home American Legion Lockeroom baseball soaring past the Charleston Flying Squirrels 9-2.
Maddex Chism earned the win for Lockeroom striking out 4 and walking none over 5 innings. Mountain Home had a strong eye at the plate accumulating six walks over the game. Cash Arnhart led at the plate going 2 for 4 and 3 batted in.
Lockeroom faces Columbia, Tennessee at 1:30 Saturday with an evening game at 8:15 against the Mid Missouri Outlaws.
