Treasure Chest Winner Lori Sutphin with Marchant’s Phil Honey

A Midway woman got quite the shock Thursday afternoon after she picked the correct key that opened KTLO’s Treasure Chest winning herself $1500.

Lori Sutphin was one of the last people in line to try their luck as KTLO was broadcasting live at Marchant Building and Rental Center in Mountain Home. Marchant’s was hosting KTLO as part of their 65 year community celebration.

Lori was originally sitting at home in Midway listening to the radio and heard a remote broadcast from the event inviting her to come out and try a key. She headed to town, stopped by KTLO to verify the address for Marchants, and made it in the last couple of minutes before the broadcasted ended to try a key and win the cash. She told KTLO’s Adam Rogers it was quite a shock when the key opened the lock.
