Lockeroom falls to 5 Star Arkansas Desola

Mountain Home Lockeroom fell to 5 Star Arkansas Desola 5-2 on Sunday at Fayetteville High School.

Mountain Home got on the board in the top of the first inning after Xander McCandlis hit a sacrifice fly, and Ryder McClain singled to right field, each scoring one run.

After a single down the right field line, 5 Star Arkansas Desola was able to tie the game at two in the bottom of the fourth.

In the bottom of the sixth, 5 Star Arkansas Desola broke up the tie and were able to extend the lead to 5-2.

Jordan Corbett took the loss for Lockeroom. The pitcher went five innings, allowing five runs on six hits, striking out four and walking three.

McClain and McCandlis were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Mountain Home. Lincoln Sherry led the team with two hits in four at bats from the leadoff position.

Lockeroom will be back in action Friday as they travel to take on Sheridan with first pitch set for 8.
