
Republican State Representative Stetson Painter recently announced his bid for reelection to a third term in the Arkansas House of Representatives.
Painter has been serving his second term in the House as representative for citizens in Baxter and Fulton County of District 3. For the 95th General Assembly he has served on the House Education Committee and the House City, County and Local Affairs Committee. Painter has served as the Majority Whip for the assembly which has given him and those he represents a seat at the leadership table to shape policy changes in Arkansas.
From support for rural health care, confidence in elections and policies designed to protect interests in Arkansas, Painter is proud of the work he and the citizens have been able to accomplish.

Representative Painter has served in the Army Reserves since the age of 17 and earned his associate’s degree from Arkansas State University Mountain Home. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Criminology and subsequently his Master of Public Administration from Arkansas State University Jonesboro.
