An Oakland woman pled guilty to drug charges filed in both Baxter and Marion counties during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Monday.

Forty-one-year-old Ashley Wile was sentenced to 10 years probation.

Wiley was taken into custody on the first case in early November 2018 after she allegedly sold a quantity of methamphetamine to an informant working with law enforcement.

She was arrested again in early December 2020, when police were called to the parking lot of a local fast-food restaurant to investigate possible drug activity.

Officers found Wiley and 34-year-old Jacob Langston of Mountain Home in a vehicle on the lot. After making contact with Langston, who was driving the vehicle, he attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended.

The officers located almost 60 grams of suspected methamphetamine and a white strip that field tested positive for LSD.

A digital scale and a number of small plastic bags were also found.

Wile was picked up the third time in early January last year in a room at a local motel. An informant told police Wile and a male companion had at least 1 ounce of heroin in the room.

When officers made entry into the room, they found Wile and 37-year-old Robert Martinell inside.

Heroin was found in the room, along with drug paraphernalia.

Wile faced multiple charges of delivery of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful use of a communication device.

Drugs mentioned in probable cause affidavits included heroin, LSD, methamphetamine and marijuana.

Emily Reed and Gray Dellinger represented her.
