
On Monday, KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News will host a Mountain Home School Board candidate forum at 9:00 on KTLO-FM 97.9 and will stream live on ktlo.com. Following the School Board candidates, a forum featuring representatives both for and against the millage will be held at 10. KTLO’s Heather Loftis will moderate the forums.School Board candidates on the ballot are Stewart Rogers, Scott Byrant and Scott Booth.
Representatives for the millage include MHPS Superintendent Dr. Jake Long, School Board member Lisa House and concerned citizen Mike Stockton. Representatives against the millage include concerned citizens Chris Chamberlin, Melissa Klinger and Mark Howson.
Early voting begins May 2. Election Day is May 9.
