Painting and maintenance work on the City of Gassville water tank is scheduled to begin Monday, weather permitting.
According to a press release from Mayor Jeff Braim, Snowball Lane and a portion of Hughey Lane will be closed to through traffic while the project is underway.
City officials say anyone needing access to the cemetery should use North Johnson Street from U.S. Highway 62/412.
A large canopy will be placed over the water tank during construction, and the city is asking the public to avoid the area while work is being completed.
Anyone with questions about the project can contact Gassville City Hall at 870-435-6439.
