The Mountain Home Education Foundation (MHEF) proudly awarded 23 Teacher Grants on May 12, 2026, totaling $27,320 in funding for innovative classroom projects across Mountain Home Public Schools. Members of the MHEF Board of Directors celebrated the recipients by visiting six school campuses to present grant award certificates, along with cowbells, balloons, and treats for students.
Julia Gist, MHEF Board of Directors President, states, “The MHEF is committed to education in MHPS and one way we demonstrate that is through awarding Teacher Grants to district educators. Teacher Grants give our educators an opportunity to implement innovative and creative ideas and activities in their classrooms! Seeing the excitement on teachers’ faces when they learn they’ve received a grant and then later learning how the idea impacted students makes working with the MHEF very satisfying.”
