
The Mountain View School District football program will have a familiar face leading the team this fall as Curtis Sims takes over as head coach.Sims enters his 16th year in coaching and has spent the past 12 seasons as Mountain View’s head junior high coach.

Sims said one of the biggest positives heading into the season is the number of players expected to be on the roster, with approximately 50 athletes currently out for football.
Mountain View will be making changes on both sides of the ball this offseason.
Sims said he will continue coaching the junior high program in addition to serving as head coach, while also adding another assistant coach to the staff.
