Ripley County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Doniphan man Thursday after authorities say another man was shot in the head.
Forty-nine-year-old Ronnie Brawner is being held on suspicion of first-degree assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and first-degree trespassing.
According to the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a reported shooting on Ripley 142E-209 and found a man suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head.
The victim was flown to a hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released his condition.
Deputies later arrested Brawner without incident and booked him into the Ripley County Jail.
