Lady Bomber softball rolls past Rogers

The Mountain Home Lady Bombers picked up an 11-5 victory over Rogers in varsity softball action.

Maddie Simmons led Mountain Home at the plate by going 3-for-3 with two runs scored. Laken Anderson finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored, while Chloe Bohannon went 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

Kailyn Pope added two hits and two RBIs, Leah Bockstahler finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Libby Dewey went 2-for-4 with three RBIs. Brooklynn Mitchell added an RBI for the Lady Bombers.

With the win, Mountain Home improves to 15-7 overall and 9-5 in conference play. They will face 2-seed from the 5A East, Greene County Tech in the 5A state tournament on Thursday at 5:30.
