An Ozark County man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in the eastern part of the county according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP). The 75-year-old from Noble was airlifted from the scene to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.The MSHP does not release the names of those involved in motor vehicle or boating accidents.
According to the accident report, the crash happened when the man failed to negotiate a curve and his vehicle overturned. The vehicle then traveled off the left side of the roadway and the victim, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected.
The accident happened on Missouri State Highway 181, ten miles south of Dora at 9:00 Tuesday morning.
