Ulta Beauty and senior living center highlight $7.1 million in Feb. building permits

The City of Mountain Home issued more than $7.1 million in building permits in February, led by a new senior living facility on Burnett Drive and a major commercial renovation for the future Ulta Beauty.

The largest single permit went to Legacy Village Memory Care LLC based out of Little Rock for a new 27,160-square-foot assisted living facility at 896 Burnett Drive, valued at $3.5 million. The planned development will bring assisted living apartments together under one roof. Olympus Construction Inc. is listed as the contractor.

Ulta Beauty to be located in the Plaza Way shopping center was approved for a $1.13 million remodel to be handled by Vision General Contractors. Vantive Chem Lab located on site of Baxter Labs at 1900 Hwy. 201 N also received a permit for a $1.56 million commercial renovation, with Gregory Co. Inc. serving as contractor.

On the residential side, Gracy Properties received permits for five new homes along Laurel Road in southern Mountain Home, each valued at $125,000 and built by Gracy Enterprises. JCT Ventures LLC also pulled a permit for a new home at 504 Bluemont Ave., valued at $180,000.

Other permits included commercial remodels for The Abby at 813 S. Main St. and Baxter Health’s HIMS room at 624 Hospital Dr., a residential addition at 115 Oakmont Drive, and commercial signs for Baxter Health and Danfoss Corporation.

In total, the city collected $17,002.64 in fees for the February permits.
