Monday & Tuesday, October 30-31
The Baxter County Historical & Genealogical Society will host “Trick or Treat” at the Casey House on Monday, October 30 and Tuesday, October 31 from 5:30-8:00. The Casey House is located at the Northeast corner of the Fairgrounds. Entry to the Casey House will be at the corner of Wade Street and Arena Drive. The gate at the chain-link fence enclosing the House will be marked with glowing pumpkins. Parking is available in front of the Fair entrance or in the lot across Wade Street. The Cotter Community will host Trunk or Treat Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 at Big Spring Park. The event is for children 12 years and younger and includes spooky games, prizes, candy and face painting. New this year will be a photo booth with a backdrop for picture taking. The Cotter Fire Department and the American Legion will be joining the festivities this year. Hot dog, chips and beverages will be sold for $2.00. Cotter Trunk or Treat is sponsored by Wesley United Methodist Church and hosted by the City of Cotter. For questions contact Barb Hilton at 870-656-8858.
Tuesday, October 31
Mobilized employees will be dressed for Halloween and will have candy at both their locations– Highway 62 East across from Sonic and in the Hometown Commons shopping center next to Lowe’s.
Ultimate Auto Group holds their Trunk or Treat at all three of their locations starting at 5:00 PM.
Century 21 LeMac offices will be having a Trick or Treat open house on Halloween. Bring the kids for a safe, indoor Halloween adventure. Locations are Highway 62 and Plaza Center in Mountain Home.
RiverLodge Assisted Living will have trick or treating and will serve punch and treats from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
Bar None Cowboy Church, located at 44 Arrowleaf Lane in Midway, will have their Fall Festival from 6:00 to 8:00. They will have pony and horseback rides, games, a hay ride, cake walk and more. For more information call 870-481-5600.
Bull Shoals United Methodist Church will host its Trunk or Treat and Fall Festival from 6:00 to 8:00. It’s located at C.S. Woods Boulevard and Lynette Avenue. There will be hot dogs, chips, carnival games, face painting, a cupcake walk, a haunted house, a photo booth, prizes and candy. A hay ride will be provided by the Bull Shoals Volunteer Fire Department. For more information, call 870-445-4113 or go online to bullshoalsumc.com.
The Bakersfield Haunted House is open from dark until 10:00 PM. It’s located off Highway 101, one half mile down CR 585. $10 admission. For information, call 870-656-0509.
